2009 Taste of Olean Hospitality Wall of Fame Awards program: Nicholas “Nick” Fratarcangelo; William “Bill” Augostini; Quinto and Dora Bagazzoli; and Louis Marra.

   Art in the Park, showcasing the finest art in southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania, featured the works of thirty-three artists.

Al Wager, National Grid Co. and Shelly Wolf, the official tasters for the Taste, proclaimed the Tasters Choice dessert to Beef n’ Barrel Restaurant’s Apple Pie; Tasters Choice Salad to Chef's Bistro's Bistro Salad; Green Acres’ Marinated Shrimp Skewers as the Tasters Choice for appetizer;

Tasters Choice Best Summer Drink went to Linger Longer Cafe's Summer Splash Smoothie; Best Pizza was Napoli Pizza; the  Tasteful Healthy Option went to Whispering Mountain Lodge Restaurant’s Natural Chili and

Old Library Restaurant’s Smokehouse Chicken over Rice won as the Tasters Choice Main Dish; 

21 area restaurants offered tastes ranging from 50¢ to $3.50.

Other entertainment included the Balloon Man, the Olean YMCA inflatables, kiddie rides, and face painting.
