Chamber's 101st Annual Dinner
Two businesses and one individual were named recipients of the 2007 Annual Dinner awards given by Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce. The awards honor those who exemplify the enterprising spirit of community and commercial growth in the greater Olean community.
The Board of Directors at GOACC was very pleased to announce the 2007 Enterprising Business Awards were presented to The ReHabilitation Center and the Cattaraugus County Campus of Jamestown Community College. The Enterprising Business Award is the highest distinction for a business given by the Chamber’s 721 members.The Board of Directors at GOACC honored the contributions of Carol L. Mahoney with the L.O.U.I.E. Award. The award presented was the 18th since its inception. It is bestowed upon an individual who symbolizes the enterprising spirit for the greater Olean community and the qualities which were embodied in the life of Louis Marra.
The awards will be presented at the GOACC 102nd Annual Dinner on November 1 at the Premier Banquet Center, in Olean. Dinner tickets are $40, with patron tickets $50, and a corporate Ttable of eight $500. The menu will include premier steak with corbert sauce and seafood stuffed broiled shrimp over seasoned fried rice. The dinner will have a 6 PM Informal Reception with a 7 PM Dinner.
