Scenic Route for the Allegheny River Running Fest

Kristen Johnson

The Allegheny River is a 325-mile (523 km) long headwater stream of the Ohio River in western Pennsylvania and New York. The Allegheny River Running Fest (ARRF) running races will have participants running along the picturesque Allegheny River on the area’s Allegheny River Valley Trail. In fact, the ARRF is one of few races that actually run along the Allegheny.
