A space-themed non-profit learning center designed to stimulate a student’s interest in science, math and technology through a series of hands-on experiences and simulations that are tied to classroom learning. Students who visit the Center are split into groups but work together from a simulated space station and mission control room to complete a space mission. The Dresser-Rand Challenger Learning Center has been conducting missions since Fall 2009. The Center’s primary focus is to get kids excited about math and science, but the center is also open for corporate training sessions and community events.
