George Pancio- who was the former Macy's Day Parade Santa and he did the event here in Olean for 30 years. We restarted the event just before his passing 3 years ago. Its basically a free 1 hour event that my family/friends put on for the community - where Santa spends time on the "Rooftop" -side porch roof- talking to the kids of the community; imparting his knowledge/wisdom, singing songs, and spreading holiday cheer. Santa often interacts with the kids and there are special appearances by Buddy the Elf and The Grinch. We have hot chocolate and candy canes for those in attendance.
